    What I’m wondering is how tough solar panels are. Would they hold up to a punishing hail storm. I know a lot of people are mounting these on their roofs.

    you should look up nikola teslas research at colorado springs started the whole solar panel industry. in 1898 he discovered that you could get solar energy from plates held in the air and patented the “utilization of radiant energy” 1901. this was the first solarpanel and photovoltaic effect in history. i remade the tesla solar device and it works! and i also show you how to build the first solar panel for free so you can have a piece of history on your property!! great video by the way

    @Turofighter, some panels are not too strong, keep away from those. (like mine, in my video) However, some are very tough and have been reported to withstand hail very well. I will be getting the better/stronger/more powerful panel in future.
